A Naitik Singh production

Naitik Singh

I build and fix Spring Boot backends for US startups: marketplaces, auth, payments, APIs.

Software that ships.

Act ISc. 01Take 1

The Problem

Every product starts as a tangle.

  • ERR 01A good idea, stuck behind a slow backend.
  • ERR 02Bugs nobody can reproduce. Pages that crawl.
  • ERR 03A codebase that fights every new feature.

You don't need more code. You need it untangled.

Act IISc. 02Take 1

The Build

Then the system comes together.

I design the system first, then build every layer of it: the interface, the APIs, the data and the pipeline that ships it.

  • Frontend: Next.js · React · Three.js
  • API Gateway: Spring Cloud Gateway · JWT / OAuth2
  • Auth service: Spring Security
  • Orders service: Spring Boot · REST
  • Catalog service: Node.js · GraphQL
  • Event bus: Kafka
  • Cache: Redis
  • Database: PostgreSQL · MongoDB
  • Shipped with: Docker · GitHub Actions · AWS · Vercel

The Proof

Selected work.

Five features, all live. Each one built, deployed and maintained solo.

Concept project

Saltline Kitchen

A Brooklyn seafood group with three rooms, told one plate at a time.

The problem
A seafood group with three very different locations needs one site that sells the food, books the right room and still feels handmade.
The solution
A scroll-driven “plate leaves the pass” sequence built from hand-coded cut-paper SVG, a reservation flow that knows each room, and a table-ordering demo.
The outcome
  • 01The cut-paper illustrations are hand-coded SVG, so they stay crisp at any size and animate on scroll.
  • 02Reservations respect per-room party limits, so guests are only offered a room that fits their group.
  • 03A front-end QR table-ordering demo: scan, build a tray and review it, with the tray held in local state.

Oscillo home page: the word “OSCILLO” in huge letters above a 3D desktop synthesizer with orange keys, wrapped by a glowing orange waveform ribbon.

Concept project

Oscillo

A launch site for a fictional desktop analog synthesizer, played by scrolling.

The problem
A hardware launch has to make people want an instrument they can't touch yet, and a spec sheet alone won't do it.
The solution
A flagship scroll-driven site: a 3D synth in the hero, a waveform ribbon that runs through every scene, a pinned process scene and a waitlist form.
The outcome
  • 01A real-time 3D model of the synth renders in the hero with Three.js, so the product is the first thing visitors see.
  • 02One waveform ribbon threads through every scene, tying the whole scroll together as a single piece.
  • 03A pinned, scroll-driven process scene built with GSAP, ending in a front-end waitlist form.

Concept project

Maren Aesthetics

A premium med spa in Scottsdale that sells calm instead of hype.

The problem
Med spa sites tend to shout: airbrushed results and hard sells. That is exactly what makes careful clients hesitate.
The solution
A quiet, editorial site with an illustrated treatments list, a results page that sets honest expectations and a booking flow taken one step at a time.
The outcome
  • 01Hovering a treatment swaps the illustration beside the list, so every service gets a visual without a wall of photos.
  • 02An honest results page that explains what to expect, rather than promising a transformation.
  • 03A multi-step booking flow that asks for one thing at a time.

Solo (design and front-end)
  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript

Vantro home page: the headline “Call the quarter with a number you can defend.” beside a Q4 forecast card projecting $4.82M on a chart of scored deals.

Feature 04/05 · 2026

Concept project

Vantro

AI revenue forecasting for B2B sales teams, with the range shown up front.

The problem
A forecasting product lives or dies on trust. Sales leaders need to see how the number is built before they believe it.
The solution
A multi-page marketing site that leads with the product: a forecast card in the hero, then a four-step story of how the forecast is made.
The outcome
  • 01The hero forecast card plays out a sample quarter: deals land, get scored and roll up into a projection with its range.
  • 02A four-step product story (connect, score, roll up, act) explains the model without the jargon.
  • 03A multi-page marketing site (product, pricing and about) that shares one visual system.
Role
Solo (design and front-end)
  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Motion

Shadeon home page: a swirling particle shader above the headline “Animated shaders, ready to paste.”

Feature 05/05 · 2026

Shadeon

Original animated WebGL shaders you tune live, then paste anywhere.

The problem
Shader backgrounds look incredible, but they usually ship with a heavy runtime, a dependency chain and a page that makes laptop fans spin.
The solution
A gallery where every shader is tuned live (colors, speed, scale, seed), then exported as one self-contained React component, plain JavaScript or raw GLSL.
The outcome
  • 01Zero-dependency exports: every shader is a single file, also installable through the shadcn CLI.
  • 02One WebGL context draws the whole gallery. Shaders pause off-screen and lower their resolution when frames drop.
  • 03Considerate by default: a still frame for reduced motion and a static gradient when WebGL isn't available.

Solo: product, design, engineering, shaders and launch

About me

Naitik.

  • Self-taught, hands-on
  • Backend first: Java · Spring Boot
  • Solo builds, end to end
  • Available for freelance

I'm Naitik, a self-taught full-stack engineer who learned by shipping. My home turf is the backend: Java, Spring Boot and Postgres, written carefully and tested properly.

I care just as much about the part people see, which is why my side projects end up as WebGL shader libraries. I take on a small number of freelance projects at a time, so each one gets my full attention from first call to launch.

How I work

How a project runs

From the first call to launch.

  1. Reel 01

    Discovery

    Development

A call to understand the goal, the users and what “done” looks like. You get a written scope and a fixed quote.

  2. Reel 02

    Design & architecture

    Pre-production

Data model, system design and UI direction are agreed before a line of production code is written.

  3. Reel 03

    The build

    Principal photography

Built in short cuts. Every milestone lands on a live preview link you can click through yourself.

  4. Reel 04

    Testing & hardening

    Post-production

Automated tests, performance passes, security hardening and accessibility checks.

  5. Reel 05

    Launch & support

    Premiere

Launch, monitoring and a support window, then a clean handover: docs, repository and credentials.

Fine print

Before you hire me

How soon can you start?

Usually within a week. I'm currently booking new freelance projects and keep only a few running at once.

How do we communicate?

Async-first: short written updates every few days, a live preview link at each milestone, and calls when they're actually useful. Email or Slack, whichever your team prefers.

How do you price work?

Scoped projects are priced per milestone, so you always know the cost before work starts. Ongoing work runs on an hourly or monthly retainer. Every quote is in writing.

Who owns the code?

You do. The full source, the repository and deployment access are yours from day one. No lock-in, no hostage hosting.

What happens after launch?

Every project includes a post-launch support window for fixes. After that, ongoing changes can move to a simple monthly retainer.

Can you work on my existing codebase?

Yes. I start with a read-through and a short written report, then fix things in order of impact.
